Every one is unique

you expect me to fish it out of there, don't you?Every dog seems to have their own little quirks and I do love my Labs.  Since we had an unusual heat streak here, I broke down two days before the mind-zapping heat ended and bought them their own little kiddie pool.Okay, fine...but I'm not getting in

At the dog park, they love the kiddie pool. Molly will go over to drink out of it but Max will climb all the way in and wallow. This can be both good and bad. That kiddie pool can get rather nasty since when it has water in it and unless people bring their own, it is the only water source at the park. We bring a jug and a bowl and share the wealth with who ever is there. Most folks do that and leave the kiddie pool for dipping dogs.

Anyhoo, you’d think having their own, brand spanking new, clean pool with clean fresh water would make them jump right in! Nope. Max never did more than gingerly dip his paw in to nudge the ball close enough for him to grab it and Molly braved a nose dunking but absolutely refused to get in that pool.
